Canaria Studios

Questions, answered

Who makes these games, what they cost, what they collect, and when they are coming. Each answer stands on its own, so it can be read — or quoted — without the rest of the page.

Who makes these games?

Canaria Studios, a trading name of De Canaria LLC, a company registered in New York in 2026. It is a one-founder studio: he decides what is built, reads what comes out, and is the only person who publishes anything.

Can a level be impossible to finish?

No. Every board has a way through, and that is a property of how the levels are made rather than a promise anyone has to keep: a level is built backward from a finished, winning line, so a solution exists before the puzzle does, and a simulation replays that line across the whole level band before a build ships. Whether you find it is another matter — a level can beat you, and what a given game offers when a board goes badly (undo, a shuffle, another go at the round) differs per game. Each game's own page and support page say which.

What kind of games will the studio make?

Hybrid-casual games, on a widening range. The two built so far are quiet puzzles, which is a decision about those two titles rather than a house style. The larger game being worked toward is described by its shape rather than its label: a core you understand at a glance, a first success within seconds, sessions of three to five minutes, and something that visibly grows between them instead of resetting. Which one actually gets built is decided by what strangers understand and voluntarily come back to, not by taste.

Do the games cost anything?

No. Every game on this site is free to play in your browser, with nothing to install. None of the builds on this site takes real money today — in-app purchases are switched off in every one of them, and where a game has something to spend, it is spent in coins the game gives you for playing. Each game's own page says what that build contains, and it is compiled from the build rather than written from memory, so it changes when the build does.

Do I need to make an account to play?

No. No game on this site asks you to sign in or create an account to play today, and progress is kept by the device you play on. Each game's privacy page describes exactly what that build stores and what it sends, and is generated from the build's own manifest rather than written from memory.

Do the games work on a phone?

Yes. They are designed portrait, at phone size, for one thumb, and they run in a mobile browser without installing anything. Every screenshot on this site is a real capture at 390 by 844 points, which is the size an iPhone hands a web page.

Are the games on the App Store or Google Play?

Not yet. No game here has been submitted to any app store or games portal, and no release date has been announced. The open web portals come first, because they put a game in front of players without a review queue; store releases follow, one at a time and deliberately paced. Each game's page lists every place it will be playable and says which of them are live; today the browser version on this site is the only one.

What data do the games collect?

It differs per build, so it is answered per build rather than in one sentence here. Each game has a privacy page with one section per build that ships — the browser version, the app version, a portal version — generated from that build's own manifest, and a build's section cannot describe collection the build does not do or stay silent about collection it does.

How do I get help, or report a bug?

Email the studio and say what happened; the level number and what you tapped last help most. Every game also has a support page with the questions that come up most about that game.

Can I write about, stream or record the games?

Yes, and there is a press kit per game with a fact sheet, a description and the current screenshot set as a downloadable ZIP. Coverage of a game is free to use the screenshots with a credit to the studio. If you need a different game state, a different device size or another language, ask — every screenshot is generated from a declared state, so there is nothing to hunt for.

What is the studio working on next?

Putting both games on the open web portals, then reading the two numbers that decide what happens to each: how many plays run past three minutes, and how many players return a week later. Alongside that, a rolling series of small playable prototypes, each put in front of players within days and each judged against a rule written before it was built. The roadmap page lists what follows, labelled as a roadmap rather than a schedule.
