Hush Tiles: Triple Match Game · Effective 2026-09-07

Issued by Canaria Studios (De Canaria LLC). Questions about it go to dev@thecanaria.com.

Hush Tiles on the App Store collects nothing at all — it has no network access. The browser version you can play on this site and on game portals is loaded over the network like any web page; whether it also reports gameplay counters under a random per-install id is stated below, read from the build that was actually served. A third build, for the CrazyGames portal, is in development; it ships that portal's SDK for the signals the portal requires and for saving progress, and carries no third-party ad placement — details are below its own heading. All three carry the studio's own cross-promo card, which may appear after a win: bundled artwork for another Canaria Studios game, with no SDK and no network request behind it. None of the three has an account or any personal data.

This policy is generated from the build profiles declared in the game's own manifest, so it describes what each build actually contains rather than what anyone remembers about it. Each heading below is one shipped build.

The App Store app (iPhone)

The app loads entirely from files bundled inside it and never opens a network socket — there is no telemetry upload, no crash reporter, no ad request, nothing. This is verifiable rather than promised: the build excludes the networking package outright, and the build fails if the emitted bytes contain a network primitive at all.

This is the build the App Store privacy label describes, and the label's answer is "Data Not Collected".

The browser version (this site and game portals)

The browser build is delivered over the network, so your browser makes the ordinary requests any web page makes; your IP address is visible to the host serving the page, as it is for every website you visit.

If gameplay analytics are ever switched on for this build, they are counters tagged with a random id for this install — level started, level cleared, booster used and similar — plus a crash report when something goes wrong, with no cross-site tracking and nothing joined to anything that identifies you. Every value is a number, a yes/no or a choice from a fixed list; the one free-text field is a browser error message, shortened and stripped of addresses, file paths and identifiers before it is recorded. The line above says whether the copy you are playing right now actually transmits, and it is written from a scan of the bytes that were served, not from anyone's memory.

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases your progress.

The CrazyGames portal build (in development)

This build is not yet live on CrazyGames. It ships the CrazyGames SDK for the signals the portal asks of any embedded game — a gameplay start/stop pair, a cue on a win, and the SDK's save store, which this build uses to keep your progress on CrazyGames' regional domains and in their mobile apps, where a browser would otherwise discard it. It carries no third-party ad placement of any kind and requests no third-party advertising inventory through that SDK.

On first launch this build asks, with Accept and Decline offered equally, before any counter below is collected; the answer lives afterwards under Settings — "Share play data". Turning it off stops the counting and discards anything waiting to be sent; turning it back on resumes it, both without restarting. The dialog asks about play data and nothing else, because play data is the only thing this build collects. CrazyGames runs its own consent for the advertising IT serves on the page around the game, which is theirs and not ours.

This build collects the same gameplay counters as the browser build above, under the same random per-install id — level started, level cleared, booster used and similar — plus the same crash report when something goes wrong, under a random identifier stored on your device, with no name, no email, no account and no advertising identifier.

Clearing your browser's site data for this domain erases your progress.

Universal opt-out signals

Any build of this game that runs in a browser reads the Global Privacy Control signal (navigator.globalPrivacyControl) the moment it starts. A signal received this way turns off gameplay analytics and personalised ads for that install immediately, with no dialog shown — the same outcome as declining the in-game privacy question — and it is honoured as a standing opt-out request, not a one-time answer.

Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information

To stop this game sharing device data with an advertiser to choose an ad, or sending gameplay analytics, open Settings inside the game and turn off “Personalised ads” and “Share play data” — the same controls the first-run question sets, where a build has one; a build that never asks that question shows neither control because there is nothing to turn off. If Settings is not reachable on your build, email dev@thecanaria.com and ask; the request is honoured the same way.

Purpose of use

Where a build's profile permits it, the data described above is collected only for: measuring which levels are started and cleared, to tune difficulty and the in-game economy, and diagnosing crashes and errors. It is tied to a random identifier generated for this install, never a name, an email or an account, and it is never sold.

What is stored, and where

Your game progress — current level, coins, streak, booster charges, settings (sound, haptics, theme, reduced motion), local play statistics, and unlocked themes — is saved only on your device, in the app's own private storage or in your browser's local storage. It is deleted when you delete the app, when you clear the site's data in your browser, or when you complete both steps of "Reset all data" in Settings.

Notifications

If you allow it, the app may schedule a small number of local reminders (for example, a streak-at-risk or free-gift reminder) directly on your device using Apple's on-device notification scheduler. These are generated and delivered entirely on your device; no server is involved and no data about you is sent anywhere to create them.

Sharing

The "Share your streak" feature is entirely user-initiated. If you choose to use it, the game hands a locally generated image and a line of text to your device's standard share sheet, and you pick where it goes — a message thread, another app, or nowhere at all, if you cancel. We never see it, never receive it, and never know whether you used it.

Children's privacy

Hush Tiles is not directed at children. It asks for no personal information from anyone, of any age.

Changes to this policy

If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this same address with an updated effective date. The App Store build has no way to reach the network, so it cannot notify you in-app — check back here if you want to be sure.
